Just like you remember Sunday dinners at Grandma’s, this vintage Corning Ware 3qt. Casserole Roasting DishA-3-B with lid will transcend decades to form new family traditions. Written on the front of this 1960-1970 pattern in French is L’Echalote La Marjolaine and displays the warm hues of orange, green and brown. It’s known as the Spice ‘O Life. Corning Ware was first introduced in 1958 and was a brand name for a unique glass ceramic (Pyroceram) resistant to thermal shock. It withstands 900 degree Fahrenheit and can go from freezer, to oven, to stove, microwave and to the table. It retains heat for hours. Cook with the Pyrex lid if desired, but know that the lid will keep heat in until everyone is gathered around the table.
