Mending scratches - How do I proceed?
Thoroughly clean the area, if rust is visible, remove it carefully with sandpaper (please make sure that the surrounding paint is not damaged).
For bare plastic parts, we recommend using a plastic adhesive primer, this is applied very thinly to the bare plastic and approx. Let it soak in for 10 to 15 minutes. You can find the plastic adhesive primer in our shop.
Shake the 1K primer / rust protection paint stick (if necessary) vigorously, apply it very carefully with the brush and let it dry (approx. 10 to 15 minutes should usually be sufficient).
Then shake the basecoat touch-up stick vigorously and carefully apply thin layers in several layers and let it dry again and again (approx. 10 to 20min. ), repeat this until the basecoat has covered, then again approx. Let dry for 15-20 minutes.
Then shake the clear lacquer paint pen vigorously and carefully apply it, then let it dry properly. The clearcoat is usually thicker than the basecoat, so it should be used a little more sparingly.
Here is a special TIP from us.
If you have a stone chip on a lying surface, such as a hood or roof, we would recommend touching it up with our paint swabs. Simply dip the paint swab into the paint pen and carefully fill in the stone chip with this paint. The paint nicely fills the stone chips and there is no excess of paint. You can also find paint swabs in different versions and quantities in our shop.

Color deviations of the touch-up pen compared to your vehicle are possible due to the age of the vehicle and the weather.

It is essential to protect against frost! The repair of the damaged car paint with our touch-up pen cannot replace professional repairs in a car paint shop!
