Here is this striking original Belgian movie poster from the first release of Stuart Heisler's film noir,
Tokyo Joe
. The film starred Humphrey Bogart as an ex-Colonel who returns to Japan after the end of World War II and discovers some dark secrets. This poster is from the film's original Belgian release in 1950. Please notice the printer's markings in the bottom border and compare it to the markings from a later release. The beautiful artwork is completely intact and unique to this Belgian release movie poster. A "must have" for any Bogie fan.

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN/SIZE: Belgium  14.5" x 19.75"
CONDITION:
Good to Very Good Trimmed Folded Condition. Partially trimmed top white border has remnants of a former theater exhibition snipe. A few bumps and pinholes in surrounding white borders. A tax stamp is affixed in upper right corner. Slight overall yellowing to the paper.  Artwork is vivid and intact. Originally folded as issued, this poster has been stored flat and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube or box.
