    Here is an original Dutch movie poster from the first release of Allan Dwan's WWII film classic,
    Sands Of Iwo Jima
    . As told from the viewpoint of Corporal Robert Dunne, this film stars John Wayne as he leads a group of United States Marines from training to the Battle Of Iwo Jima during WWII.  Wayne's portrayal of Sgt. Stryker gained him an Oscar nomination for Best Actor.  This poster is from the first release of the movie in the Netherlands. Although this poster resembles the Belgian release poster in size and artwork, this is most definitely from the Netherlands. The bottom border printer's information references Amsterdam and there is an imprinted circular Dutch marking in the left of the artwork. The artwork is awesome and the poster is in very good condition.
