Retro Vintage Club 2 Qt Quart Casserole Dutch Oven Dish Baking Space Age 1950's

Description

This is a vintage 1950's Club Hammered Aluminum round cooking pan with 2 Bakelite handles on the bottom and a Bakelite knob on the lid. It is marked "Hammered Club Aluminum Hammercraft Cookware". It measures 2-1/2" high without the lid, and about 4-3/8" high with the lid, NOT including the lid knob. It has a 9-1/4" diameter without the handles and has a 2 quart liquid capacity filled to the brim. It was made during the the Space Age and has a flying saucer appearance at a time when Mid Century Modern furniture was the rage.
It is in excellent condition overall. The logo on the bottom is clear and sharp, indicating it was not overused. There are no chips, cracks, dents or dings inside or out. It is shiny  with NO baked on seasoning or tarnish inside or out and the handles are in very good condition. There are minor surface scratches inside and out from cleaning. The lid fits well. The pan sits DEAD FLAT on a granite surface. See high resolution photos for more.
