Here is an original Belgian movie poster from the first release of Jack Conway's film adaptation of the Pearl Buck novel,
Dragon Seed

This poster is from the first release of the
movie in Belgium in January 1946, soon after the end of the war in Europe. It is printed on the back of a war era ordnance map which was common practice due to a paper shortage immediately after the war. The beautiful
artwork is unique to this Belgian release poster which seldom comes up for sale or auction.

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN/SIZE: Belgium  14.5" x 21.5"
CONDITION:
Very Good Untrimmed Folded Condition. Untrimmed top white border has small remnants of a former theatre snipe and a couple of pinholes. There is an additional snipe remnant in the bottom white border obscuring the printer's information. Printed on the reverse of an ordnance map. Slight overall yellowing of the paper.  Some minor crinkling rippling of paper around the edges. Artwork is vivid and completely intact. Folded as originally issued, this poster has been stored flat for the past 17 years and will be shipped rolled in a sturdy tube or box.
