2-7/16" - 16 NS Straight Bottoming Tap - Cut / Modified Shank, Very Sharp

Very high quality and sharp tap in a rare size.  Please note that the shank has been modified/cut for a unique tool-holding situation.  There is only one flat ground on the shank (shown on left side of photos #1 &
2).  You may need to modify the tap for your use.  The teeth and flutes are in excellent condition.
The tap pictured is the exact item you will receive. I try my best to accurately represent the items I sell and to document any damage. Taps are sometimes dipped in-house with oil-exuding plastic to provide protection from physical damage and corrosion. Photos are taken both before and after dipping so that you can see the condition of flutes and teeth. Please reach out with any questions are requests.
