1970s/80s OMC Johnson Evinrude 172858 Outboard Power Tilt & Trim Assembly

1970s/80s OMC Johnson Evinrude Outboard Motor Power Tilt and Trim Assembly. Condition is "Used". This Unit was designed I believe for 55HP and under outboard motors. Assembly appears to be complete except for a couple items. Missing is the 6 bolts which attach the lift bracket to the outboard. Simple bolts which can be purchased at any hardware store. Also missing is the sending unit assembly. The sending unit has been removed from the Trim Cylinder and the hole plugged and sealed. See Photo. You don't need no gauge to tell you if your Outboard is trimmed up or down.

Unit is painted with what appears to be a gray primer. I would suggest giving it a coat with an oil/gas resistant paint in color of your choice.
Unit will be shipped partially disassembled and empty. You will need to service unit with hydraulic fluid. There are Plenty of Youtube vids on how to service Tilt Trim units with HYD fluid.
Unit will be shipped FedEx 2nd Day. Package is heavy (35Lbs). I figure fastest affordable shipping = less handling would be safest. I have a discount with FedEx and will pass along. Only charging for FedEx 2nd day. Depending on destination location I will absorb some cost. Item will be shipped one day after payment received. If you win auction, time payment for when you will be available for receipt of item. Or communicate when you would like item shipped.
These old units are hard to find. Specially clean complete units.
From research I have done this Tilt/Trim will fit OMC Johnson Evinrude 1974-1985 40-60HP Outboard motors. If you have any questions let me know what motor you have and I will check to see if it is a fit.
